Community Energy Challenge
Saturday, February 13, 2010
The Community Energy Challenge is off to a great start! We have completed a pilot project at 82 High Street in Farmington. A total of eighteen volunteers, six of whom are residents, measured 30 units, built and installed panels for 2 of those units. The rest of the panels will be built by Maine Correctional Facilities in the coming month.
The Community Energy Challenge is now geared up to move weatherization efforts out into the rest of Greater Franklin County. Though it's later in the winter season than expected, we still can make a difference in helping
ourselves and others stay warm and safe while saving money and energy. Your help and support for this program would be greatly appreciated. Please pass information on to others that you think may be interested.
