Valentine’s Dance

The Mt. Blue Jazz Band will sponsor a Valentine’s Dance on Friday, Feb. 12 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at Mt. Blue High School in Farmington. Tickets at the door are $5. The Mt. Blue Jazz Band will provide live music and refreshments will be available. All proceeds will support the Jazz Band’s April trip to New York City to perform at the Musical Heritage Festivals. The Mt. Blue Jazz Band performs under the direction of Karen Beacham who, in addition to her teaching, serves as principal clarinet with Maine Chamber Ensemble, Maine State Ballet Orchestra, and Portland Ballet Orchestra. Ms. Beacham performs with the Portland Symphony Orchestra and is a founding member of the Nordica Trio.
