Message from the President
Welcome to the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce.
I hope you find our up-to-date website helpful, useful, and
user-friendly. If we, the Chamber, can be of any assistance to you, your family, or your business, please feel free to
contact us via email, or give us a call at the office and talk to our eager and friendly staff.
Franklin County is nestled in the heart of western Maine and offers more beauty, activities, places to go, and things to
do then I can even try to tell you about in this quick welcome. Whether its skiing at our large resorts like Sugarloaf and
Saddleback or at our community ski slopes much like Titcomb Mountain, vacationing in the summer in the likes of
Rangeley or Carrabassett Valley, spring fishing in the Sandy River or the many other lakes and streams we offer, to
enjoying the fall foliage from breathtaking views atop Dallas Plantation, Eustis Ridge or Tumbledown, Franklin County
offers it all in the four seasons.
Whether you’re an old friend, a new friend, or considering moving your business to Franklin County, I hope you find the
Chamber of Commerce a partner in your voyage here. We provide and promote our nearly 300 members with marketing
opportunities, listings in our national award-winning Welcome Guide, networking opportunities, referrals and much
more to support the variety of services and areas of expertise that our membership represents.
The volunteer Board of Directors work hard to make this region, the Chamber, and its members the best they can be in
order to thrive and make the region a better place in which to do business. We welcome the input, feedback and ideas
of our membership in order to keep us moving forward, and encourage everyone to be involved in our events, trainings,
seminars, social gatherings, or any of the many other opportunities and events that we host on a regular basis.
So, whether it’s a weekend in Wilton or a lifetime move to Farmington, we welcome you and hope you find Franklin
County and its Chamber of Commerce a warm, friendly helpful place to turn to. If you have any questions, or if the
Franklin County Chamber of Commerce can be of any additional assistance, please contact us and let us help you enjoy
Franklin County as much as we do.
Sincerely,
Ivan Gould
Board President
