Festival of Trees
The Farmington Rotary Club holds an annual 'Festival of Trees' event on Chester Greenwood Day (always the first Saturday in December) which encourages local organizations and businesses to decorate a live Christmas tree early in the morning and sits on display throughout the day for folks young and old to view. At the end of the day - each tree is auctioned off as a fundraiser for the club.
