This year marks the 42nd Celebration of Chester Greenwood Day in downtown Farmington. On Saturday, December 1st the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce presents the celebration of the Farmington native and earmuff inventor, Chester Greenwood. "Sights & Sounds of the Season” is the theme for this year’s event so join the celebration and don’t forget to include earmuffs on your float! This year sees the return of many favorite events including the annual parade, gingerbread house contests, historical open houses, craft fairs and polar bear dip as well as a Taste of Farmington event. Purchase a passport and visit the participating local eateries to enjoy a sample of the great food that abounds in downtown Farmington!
