Porter Lake 50th annual bean hole bean supper

Location: Strong Public Beach, Strong

This year the Porter Lake Association will be celebrating the 50th year of sponsoring their annual authentic bean hole bean supper on Sat. August 3rd at the Strong Public Beach from 5-7 pm. Cost: $7 adults, $5 children over 5. Note: Rain location is the Forester Memorial Building in Strong

Myriad salads and desserts brought by lakers fill the tables to round out delicious (authentically cooked in a pit at the beach) bean hole beans, hot dogs & beverages.  Come sit by the lake enjoying the view, the Merry Plinksters play their ukuleles and enjoy a delicious feed.

Proceeds help support the annual Porter Lake swim program, as well as environmental programming at the two town libraries of Strong and New Vineyard.
