Enduring Heights - NEW PHOTOGRAPHY BOOK AND BOOK SIGNING

John and Cynthia Orcutt have published a fine art photography book called “Enduring Heights" featuring images of the natural environment of Maine’s High Peaks, including the areas surrounding Sugarloaf, Bigelow, Crocker, Saddleback and Mt. Abrams.  There will be a book signing held at the Schoolhouse Gallery at 266 Main Street in Kingfield on Friday evening, August 18 from 5:30-7:30PM.  The public is welcome. The hardcover book is 12” x 12”, 132 pages with maps, several essays and over 90 color plates.  Angus King, US senator from Maine, has written the book’s foreword and Wolfe Tone, former Director of the Trust for Public Land in Maine, has written an essay describing conservation efforts in the region.
