Art Show at the PACC

Location: Phillips Area Community Center, Depot Street, Phillips

A show of local art combined with an award-winning singer/songwriter will kick off Old Home Days festivities this August. The Phillips Area Community Center (PACC) on Depot Street will host more than a dozen local artists with a sampling of their work on Saturday, August 11, from 10 to 3. Admission is free.

Later that day, at 6 p.m., the PACC will re-open for the chance to meet and speak with the artists and Ruth Hill, a local musician who has recently been awarded the grand prize in the Great American Song Contest. A wine and cheese reception, along with other snacks and drinks, will take place from 6 to 7, with the art still set up around the hall. At 7, Ruth Hill will take the stage for an evening of her thought-provoking and heartfelt songs. Tickets for the reception and concert are $15 and may be purchased the day and evening of the show.
