University of Maine Cooperative Extension Franklin County Open House & 100th Anniversary Celebration

If you’re curious as to what exactly Cooperative Extension is and does, this is a chance to learn how to utilize a local, research-based source of information about farming, vegetable & fruit gardening and 4-H youth development. Meet the staff and volunteers who work to improve the quality of life in Franklin County through education and outreach and bring your questions!
Join the University of Maine Cooperative Extension as we celebrate 100 years in Franklin County. There will be program displays and staff to answer questions. Local 4-H groups will be sharing club information, and the Franklin County Homemakers will be providing light refreshments and snacks.
