Literacy Volunteers Second Annual Fall Book Sale and Literacy Festival

Literacy Volunteers of Franklin and Somerset Counties is having their second annual Fall Book Sale and free Family Literacy Festival to be held on Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their Literacy Center on 9 Cedar St., Livermore Falls. All proceeds from the book sale will fund the Literacy Volunteers Adult Tutoring program. Find great deals on books of all kinds, and join in a variety of children’s games and story read alouds, as well as Fred and Matilda’s Petting Farm ( goats and rabbits) outside. Literacy Bucks will be given out at the Apple Pumpkin Festival. Each Literacy Buck can be used to purchase a book at the sale.
