Pumpkins on Parade is the theme chosen by friends and members of the Phillips Area Community Center at a recent gathering. On Sunday October 27th the pumpkins will be on display from 9am-4pm at the Phillips Area Community Center on Depot St. in Phillips.

 

Categories are Prettiest, most original, funniest, scariest, ugliest, smallest and largest.

 

Straying away from the original carved pumpkin, they may be dressed up, painted, lighted and any idea that your mind may come up with. Let's see how creative you can be!

 

The event sponsored by PACC will show how much local talent there is in this small town. Registration is $3 which includes the admission fee. Set up is 7am-8:45am. Tables are furnished - for those who want to create a scene on their table they must register ahead to guarantee space. Small 30" tables or card table size 6' or 8' table will be sectioned off in 2 or 3 sections. Everyone must pre-register.

 

Register ahead by calling Sandy Caton at 639-2048 or Winona Davenport at 639-4296 for a registration form. Admission for a public viewing will be $2 at the door. Snacks and drinks will be by donation.
