In the Vedas, Sankranti deciphers movement of the Sun from one rashi (constellation of the zodiac) to the next. Hence, there are 12 Sankrantis in a year. Out of these, the Makar Sankranti is considered the most auspicious and it is one of the few Hindu festivals that is aligned with the solar cycle. It is a day to honor the Sun, the indiscriminate giver of life!
Join us to take a plunge into the wisdom of the Yogis, the oldest tradition known to man, on how to LIVE in a way that benefits all beings and can change the world, just as the Sun does!
$90/full day, $45/half day suggested donation. 100% of your donation goes to supporting and furthering the goals of our nonprofit.
Overnight accommodations available. $65/per room per night.
